Peyton Woodyard is headed to Alabama after all.

The one-time Georgia commit, who announced to the Bulldogs about 7 months ago, flipped to the Crimson Tide on Tuesday, he announced on social media.

In November, Woodyard named Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oregon and USC as his top 7 teams. In January, he also included a Texas hat on the table when announcing his commitment to Georgia live on NBC.

Woodyard is out of St. John Bosco in Bellflower California, and listed at 6-2, 188 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Woodyard is rated 4-stars, the No. 9 California product and No. 6 safety in the 2024 recruiting class.

He was recruited to Alabama by Holmon Wiggins, and to Georgia by Fran Brown.

Woodyard is the 16th commitment in the the class of 2024 for the Crimson Tide. The class was ranked No. 10 in the nation on the 247 Composite before the flip.
