Alabama made it a bad day to be a Bulldog on Saturday.

First, the Crimson Tide handed No. 1 Georgia its first loss on the gridiron, claiming the SEC championship in the process.

Then, it was the men’s hoops team’s time to shine, as the Tide took down No. 3 Gonzaga in Seattle in upset fashion. Per ESPN Stats & Info, that’s the first time a school has ever beaten top-5 teams in football and men’s hoops in the same day:

It’s a good time to be a Crimson Tide fan. The football team will be in the Playoff with a chance for yet another national title.

Meanwhile, the men’s hoops team is one of the best in the nation under coach Nate Oats. We’ll see how many more big wins are in store for the Tide before the academic year is over.
