Week 9 of the 2026 college football regular season is officially in the books, and it featured yet another Saturday filled with upsets and close finishes that shook up the established pecking order.

As has been the case throughout much of the season, the chaos from Week 9 resulted in changes to both the AP and Coaches Polls ahead of the release of the first official College Football Playoff rankings this Tuesday.

It also prompted several analysts across the sport to make adjustments to their own personal rankings, including Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt, who released his updated top 10 on Monday morning.

Klatt has the Miami Hurricanes starting things off at No. 1 in his rankings, followed by the Georgia Bulldogs at No. 2, the Indiana Hoosiers at No. 3, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at No. 4, and the UCLA Bruins at No. 5.

The Utah Utes occupy the No. 6 spot, with the Texas Longhorns right behind them at No. 7. The Kentucky Wildcats come in at No. 8, followed by the Ohio State Buckeyes at No. 9 and the Alabama Crimson Tide round things at No. 10.

Week 10 is set to feature another action-packed slate of games involving several teams in Klatt’s rankings, so there’s a good chance we see yet another major shakeup when he releases his updated rankings next Monday.
