Alabama forward Alex Tchikou was a 4-star freshman in the Crimson Tide’s 2021 recruiting class out of the Las Vegas area.
He appeared in 3 games this past season and grabbed 4 rebounds. He averaged 1.7 minutes per game and didn’t score a point.
Now, it appears he’s exploring his transfer options. Per Alabama insider Charlie Potter, Tchikou has entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal:

Tchikou was the No. 65 overall player in the 2021 class, the No. 11 power forward and the No. 4 recruit from the state of Nevada, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
Where the 6-11 freshman ends up next remains to be seen, but it appears his time in Tuscaloosa is coming to an end.
