Coming into the 2018 season, Stephon Wynn was a 4-star signee for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The talented defensive end suffered an injury this August, though, and hasn’t been in action since.

On Monday, coach Nick Saban said Wynn is back on the field, though he wasn’t sure how long it would take to get him into a game situation (via AL.com):

“It’s too early to tell whether he’ll be healthy enough to be able to use him in the game,” Saban said.

Wynn was the No. 3 strong-side defensive end coming out of high school in South Carolina, per the 247Sports composite.

While he may not be a starter any time soon, he could become a valuable depth player for the Tide this fall if he’s able to return to game shape quickly.
