The way Alabama and Georgia are similarly structured on so many levels, but especially on defense, the two programs are bound to battle over the same defensive back prospects from time to time. That just so happens to be the case yet again with five-star DB Isaac Taylor-Stuart.

The San Diego native is currently being pursued by both schools, as well as Tennessee, Texas A&M and USC among others. If you are wondering why schools across the nation are clamoring for him, it because Taylor-Stuart is a 2018 U.S. Army All-American and rated as the nation’s No. 2 cornerback by 247Sports Composite Ratings.

Where will he wind up? While we don’t know just yet, a recent change in his visit schedule may provide a hint regarding where things currently stand for one of the nation’s finest prospects.

Originally scheduled to visit Athens for the Jan. 26-28 weekend, Taylor-Stuart announced last night he plans to visit Tuscaloosa instead during that time.

He followed up that tweet with this one but he’s running out of weekends to make visits, so it remains to be seen if a trip to Athens will happen:

Does that mean Georgia is out of the picture? Considering the Dawgs are trending with five-star DB Tyson Campbell of South Florida, it very well may. The elite DB will is scheduled to visit Tennessee during the final contact period leading up to National Signing Day.

There’s a good chance he’s on the field the next time Alabama and Georgia meet on the field, the only question is which side will he be playing for?
