Alabama quarterback Jake Coker says the Crimson Tide are a much-improved football team since being upset by Ole Miss earlier this season.

If only Alabama could face the Rebels again.

“They wouldn’t want to play us again,” Coker told CBS Sports earlier this week. “I think everybody here wishes that (a rematch) could happen. “They’re a good team, but we shouldn’t have played the way we played.”

Alabama suffered five turnovers during that home loss on Sept. 19 and fell behind by three touchdowns late in the third quarter. Cooper Bateman started in place of Coker at quarterback, but was relieved by the senior to the tune of 201 yards through the air and three touchdown passes.
