College football players can officially enter the NCAA’s transfer portal next week and transfer announcements are already rolling in around the country.

On Wednesday, a backup wide receiver at Alabama revealed that he will be leaving Tuscaloosa.

Christian Leary made the announcement via Twitter.

Leary, a 5-10, 175-pound sophomore, caught 1 pass for 6 yards this season and added a tackle on special teams.

A native of Orlando, Cleary was a highly coveted recruit.

He was rated by the 247Sports composite as the No. 75 overall prospect in the 2021 class.

In addition to Alabama, Leary also held offers from Florida, Arkansas, and Auburn, among others.
