Alabama target, 2024 WR Javarius Green, updates commitment timeline

Alabama wide receiver target Javarius Green had planned to commit on Tuesday, July 18. Saturday, however, Green announced a change of plans.
Green is now planning to commit on Aug. 18. He is deciding between Alabama, Michigan State and North Carolina.

A standout of Crest High School in Shelby, North Carolina, Green is listed as measuring 5-10, 190 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Green is rated 3-stars, the No. 24 recruit in the state of North Carolina, No. 101 wide receiver and No. 787 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.
Green has picked up 20 scholarship offers, the most recent coming from Alabama. The Crimson Tide entered the mix in early June.
