Alabama’s first game of the Super regional round against Wake Forest will experience a delayed start time as personnel respond to a non-game related medical emergency. A report from Alabama beat writer Tony Tsoukalas stated that an ESPN staffer suffered a “serious health incident.”

Because of the emergency, the gates to the stadium have not yet been opened as of 11:10 a.m. Saturday morning. The game was originally slated to start at Noon, but Alabama and Wake Forest Twitter accounts have confirmed the game will be delayed.

Alabama baseball’s Twitter account announced later that the game is set to start at 2:15 p.m.
