The University of of Alabama had two players, left tackle Cam Robinson and punter JK Scott, on the Freshman All-America team named by the Football Writers Association of America on Wednesday morning.

The Southeastern Conference had four other players honored, Georgia’s Nick Chubb, LSU’s Leonard Fournette, Tennessee’s Derek Barnett, and Texas A&M’s Myles Garrett.

The team was selected by a 10-person panel of prominent writers representing each of the FBS conferences. Both true freshmen (20 players) and redshirt freshmen (10 players) were considered.
