Brandon Miller officially broke an Alabama single-season freshman record Saturday. The star freshman, who is playing very well against Missouri in the semifinal round of the SEC Tournament, surpassed Sexton’s freshman season scoring mark of 632 points set in 2018.
Miller is up to 15 points and 11 rebounds with over 8 minutes remaining against the Tigers on ESPN, leading 50-42. He’s been a top 15 player in the nation this season for the Crimson Tide, leading them to a No. 1 seed come Selection Sunday.

Controversy has surrounded Miller the past few weeks, but it’s undeniable what a special talent he is on the basketball court. Miller is averaging 19.5 points per game and just over 8 rebounds per game, hitting at 45% rate from the field.
Time will tell if the Crimson Tide can hold on to beat Missouri and play for a SEC Tournament title Sunday against either Texas A&M or Vanderbilt.
