Bryce Young has joined a well-known advertising campaign this football season as the Alabama quarterback will be in the Dr Pepper “Fansville” commercials.

Young will be in the spots with Brian Bosworth as the Sheriff.

“It was a lot of fun,” Young said about filming the spot, via AL.com. “I don’t know if I’m going to give up my football career anytime soon, but I’m proud of the way everything turned out and I’m really excited for everyone to see the commercials. I hope everyone has some fun with them.”

Last year, Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei was featured in the spots for “Fansville.” Fans questioned if Dr Pepper regretted the choice after Uiagalelei’s performance on the field fell below expectations.

“Dr Pepper is one of the brands that I grew up with and I feel like they have such a strong love for the game of football, just like I do,” Young said in a press release. “I have many memories growing up and watching the Dr Pepper halftime shows during big games. To be a part of such a great tradition was really special to me.”
