Chris Stewart has a message for those panicking about Ryan Grubb’s departure from Alabama as offensive coordinator. The Crimson Tide radio play-by-play voice said at a minimum, the impact has not been felt yet.

“You don’t know that it’s a problem or not, until it becomes one,” Stewart said on the Disrupt Media Podcast Network. “And at the moment, it ain’t a problem. We hadn’t had a practice yet. Hadn’t impacted recruiting, to my knowledge, yet. So and even if it does, does it mean it can’t be overcome?

Stewart recalled how when Nick Saban left Michigan State for LSU, he sent a plane back to pick up his assistants, but none of them went to LSU. They stayed to be on the new Michigan State staff. And 4 years later, Saban won the national championship. And in that same timeframe, Bobby Williams and his staff were released.

“There’s enough to sweat when it’s truly a problem, don’t sweat stuff until it becomes one,” he said.
