Alabama continues to load up its future non-conference schedule with elite competition and the Crimson Tide just announced the biggest matchup of the bunch.

The Crimson Tide have officially announced a home-and-home series with Ohio State.

The first game in the series will take place at Ohio State on Sept. 18, 2027, with the next game taking place the next season at Alabama, on Sept. 9, 2028.

While the Buckeyes won the previous matchup in the series during the College Football Playoff at the end of the 2014 season, Alabama leads the all-time series against Ohio State at 3-1.

“The addition of Ohio State to our future non-conference schedule shows the commitment our program and administration has to creating the best possible games for our players and fans,” Nick Saban said in a prepared statement. “I have coached a lot of years in the SEC and Big 10 and Bryant-Denny Stadium and Ohio Stadium are two of the very best environments in college football. Non-conference series like Alabama-Ohio State are so important to the health of college football, and we are very pleased that we could get this series completed.”
