Jumping the No. 2 Clemson Tigers (5-0) for the top spot in the latest AP Poll, junior quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has been a large part of No. 1 Alabama’s 5-0 start.
A leading Heisman Trophy candidate and projected top-five pick in April’s NFL Draft, Tagovailoa has thrown for 1,718 yards, 23 touchdowns and zero interceptions in 2019 for the Tide.
Coming off a 59-31 win over Ole Miss (2-3), Alabama gets a week off before traveling to College Station to face the No. 23 Texas A&M Aggies (3-2) on October 12.
