Derrick Henry continues to amass impressive individual milestones during his NFL career and he could be on the way to another this Sunday.

The former standout Alabama running back is one rushing touchdown shy of 10 this season. If he reaches that mark in the Tennessee Titans’ game against the Denver Broncos, he would be the 5th running back in NFL history with 10+ rushing touchdowns in 5 straight seasons.

That would be pretty lofty company for Henry to join. Henry also broke another franchise record and made NFL history on Oct. 30.

Henry is a 2-time Pro Bowler and was the NFL Offensive Player of the Year in 2020. The man dubbed “King Henry” was tops in the league in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns in 2019 and 2020. Henry also holds the NFL record for longest rushing touchdown (99 yards) along with Tony Dorsett.

The Titans selected Henry with the No. 45 pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

During his legendary career at Alabama, Henry captured the Heisman Trophy, a rarity for non-quarterbacks. During that same 2015 season, Henry helped Alabama capture the national title.
