Eli Ricks, Alabama’s new cornerback who transferred from LSU this offseason, was arrested earlier this month in Mississippi.

Ricks was cited for speeding (91 mph in a 70 mph zone) and failure to have insurance. He was also arrested for marijuana possession.

According to the full police report, as revealed by AL.com’s Mike Rodak, Ricks had one gram of marijuana, worth $20, when he was arrested:

Ricks is expected to be a key contributor for the Alabama secondary this fall. It has not been revealed by the school if Ricks will face any punishment for his arrest.

Alabama opens the 2022 season at home against Utah State on Saturday, Sept. 3.
