Former Alabama QB David Cornwell rips Blake Barnett on social media
Former Alabama QB David Cornwell woke up and chose violence on Tuesday night, going after another former Crimson Tide quarterback, Blake Barnett, on social media.
It all started when Alabama reporter Clint Lamb took to Twitter to post a picture of a trio of Alabama quarterbacks from a few years ago, with Cornwell and Barnett (and Cooper Bateman) in the mix:

That prompted a fan to reply to Lamb’s tweet with a (since-deleted) tweet questioning Barnett’s talent. Cornwell then eagerly jumped in, saying Barnett didn’t actually have much talent:
I was in the QB room, he really didn’t have much talent. Any other questions about the 2014-2016 seasons?

Barnett, of course, saw Cornwell’s tweet and responded, saying Cornwell trashed his dorm room multiple times. Cornwell then called out Barnett for allegedly making allegations about Alabama’s program so he could transfer without sitting out a year:
Is handing over a binder of team “allegations” to the NCAA, so you can transfer without penalty trashing a program? Asking for a friend. I’ll leave it at that.

Barnett wasn’t done, though. The back-and-forth between the 2 ex-Crimson Tide quarterbacks continued:
Glad you felt the need to express your unqualified opinion that you agree doesn’t matter. Enjoy the 15 min of fame. Catch ya on the flippidy flip https://t.co/HqFjOG4K2S

Clearly there’s no love lost between Cornwell and Barnett! We’ll see how long this Twitter spat continues.
