Former Alabama star LB Reuben Foster is back in the news for all the wrong reasons.

Foster was arrested in Hillsborough County, Florida, at the 49ers team hotel on suspicion of domestic violence battery. He was arrested at 9:10 p.m. and booked into jail at 11:11 p.m. No bond was immediately posted.

According to ESPN, the 28-year-old woman said that the two were involved in a verbal confrontation and that Foster “slapped her with an open hand on her face.” Foster and the woman have had an on-and-off relationship over the past three years, per the report.

Foster has had multiple run-ins with police since being drafted out of Alabama by the 49ers. In May, a judge dismissed domestic violence charges after ex-girlfriend Elissa Ennis recanted her allegations.

The former Alabama LB was suspended for the first two games of the season for violating the NFL’s conduct and substance-abuse policies.
