Gary Danielson took the brunt of fans’ ire during the Alabama-Arkansas game on CBS, especially when it came to Bryce Young’s injury in the second quarter.

Danielson called out the play that could have caused Young’s injury, and said Danielson himself suffered a rotator cuff injury and that Young being tackled by Drew Sanders near the sideline could have been similar.

After the first quarter, Young had 159 passing yards and was 6-for-10 through the air. Freshmen receivers Kobe Prentince, with 3 catches for 92 yards and a touchdown, and Isaiah Bond, who had a catch for 53 yards, stole the show.

When Young left the game, he was 8-for-15 passing for 196 yards and a touchdown with an interception.

While most fans figured Danielson favored Alabama in his analysis, some also believed he was too harsh in his description of Young’s injury.
