As if Nick Saban and Alabama needed anymore good news on the recruiting trail; they certainly got it on Christmas Day!

Four-star offensive guard Jaeden Roberts (Houston, Texas) committed to the Crimson Tide over offers from Auburn and Arizona State, among others. In fact, Roberts was committed to Auburn earlier this year, but he backed off his commitment on December 16. Then, it was all Alabama.

The 6-foot-5, 340-pound beast of a lineman is ranked as the nation’s No. 14 offensive guard and the state of Texas’ No. 38 prospect for the class of 2021, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He’s the nation’s No. 248 overall prospect for the recruiting cycle.

There is no recruiting class catching Alabama’s this cycle, and the 2021 class may go down as Nick Saban’s best at Alabama, as well as the best recruiting class ever. Seriously.

Roberts’ commitment gives the Crimson Tide the best offensive line haul in the nation for the recruiting cycle, which includes the top 2 offensive tackles in 5-stars JC Latham and Tommy Brockermeyer, the No. 3 offensive guard in 4-star Terrence Ferguson and the No. 1 center in 4-star James Brickermeyer.
