Josh Allen, AJ McCarron QB competition in Buffalo could get awkward in a hurry

The biggest story early on draft day was Josh Allen’s Twitter history after several years-old tweets of questionable nature from his account were dug up and publicised.

In the end, the old tweet didn’t appear to hurt Allen’s stock much as he was selected with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft after the Bills traded up to get the former Wyoming quarterback in Buffalo. Allen now joins the other signal caller added by the Bills this offseason in former Alabama QB AJ McCarron.

With the two expected to battle it out for the starting duties in Buffalo this summer, wouldn’t you know it, Allen’s old tweets have been highlighted once again. This time though, instead of questionable racial or Hitler comments, Allen’s tweets feature McCarron’s wife Katherine Webb.

At this point, it may be time for Allen to delete his Twitter account and start over for his own sake.
