Julio Jones became the Atlanta Falcons all-time receiving leader Sunday night, passing Roddy White. Jones now has 10,868 receiving yards for Atlanta.

The former Alabama product caught five passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns Sunday night, the second of which was the game winner. Facing fourth and three down 20-17 in the fourth quarter, Jones called game. Quarterback Matt Ryan threw a screen pass to Jones who took it to the house for the game-winning 54-yard touchdown against the Eagles. No Philadelphia defender could even lay a finger on him.

Jones was the recipient of great blocking. Former Texas A&M offensive lineman Jake Matthews destroyed a corner blocking for Jones.

As soon as the play happened, it immediately reminded us of Jones’ game-winning 73-yard touchdown against LSU in 2009. Down 15-13 in the fourth quarter, Jones took the screen pass from quarterback Greg McElroy and took it to the house for the touchdown.

In early September, Jones signed a three-year, $66 million extension making him the highest paid NFL wide receiver. He definitely showed why he’s worth it Sunday night.
