Kadyn Proctor is expected to suit up for Alabama’s bowl game against Michigan later this week, Kalen DeBoer confirmed on Monday.
“We’re expecting him to play,” DeBoer said.
Kadyn Proctor has been in and out of the lineup during the pre-bowl practices, but has returned to be an active participant in practice. He has had to deal with injury issues during the season, as he missed the Crimson Tide’s first 2 games of the year due to a shoulder injury.
He returned in Week 3 against Wisconsin, and ended up putting together a season that he was named a second-team All-SEC offensive lineman by the coaches. When healthy, Proctor is regarded as one of the best offensive tackles in the country.
Alabama and Michigan will face off in the ReliaQuest Bowl on Tuesday afternoon. It’s a rematch of last season’s Rose Bowl, which saw the Wolverines advance to the National Championship Game with a win over the Crimson Tide. Both teams missed the College Football Playoff this season.
Kickoff between the Crimson Tide and Wolverines will be on Tuesday at 12 p.m. ET and the game will be on ESPN.
