Kadyn Proctor was one of the most talented linemen in the country coming out of high school from Des Moines, Iowa. When he arrived at Alabama, Proctor’s performance was closely watched by fans and media as he saw significant snaps at left tackle as a true freshman.

Now Proctor, who is 6-foot-7 and 360 pounds, is looking elsewhere as he’s reportedly headed to the transfer portal. Proctor will be a highly sought after transfer portal player and is the latest departure for the Crimson Tide after the likes of Caleb Downs and Isaiah Bond.

Proctor was closely watched when he flipped from being an Iowa commitment, to Alabama, after he already earned 5-star status as a recruit.

Proctor was the top offensive tackle prospect in his recruiting cycle, and became a member of the All-SEC Freshman Team by the conference coaches. Proctor earned the starting job at left tackle during fall camp kept the job throughout the season. He made 20 knockdown blocks across 743 snaps, and earned SEC Freshman of the Week recognition for his play at Auburn.

He was also selected as one of the Alabama coaching staff’s offensive players of the week following LSU and Auburn.
