Alabama’s 2020 recruiting class is filling up quickly as the Crimson Tide just picked up commitment No. 23 on Friday.

The latest prospect to offer up his commitment to Nick Saban’s program comes Destrehan, La., as running back Kyle Edwards is now officially a Crimson Tide commitment. He announced the news Friday morning on Twitter with the following note:

“Today is the day where I will make one of the biggest decisions in my life, and before I do I would like to thank God and my family for always being there for me and being my motivation and my brother for inspiring me to play football. I would also like to thank all the coaches and people who impacted my life and that continue to wish me the best and continue to come watch me play. I also would like to thank my team for always pushing me and working every day helping me get better. Especially have to thank my Mudcats cause I can’t make things happen without them. Now I am very blessed and very excited to say that I will be committing to the University of Alabama!”

The 6-foot, 210-pound prospect is rated as a three-star recruit and the No. 24 running back in the nation by 247Sports Composite Rankings. Edwards picked Alabama over Michigan and Penn State.
