Though college football officially started today, SEC action doesn’t kick off until next week.

When it does, it’s safe to say most eyes will be on the matchup between No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 Florida State in Atlanta.

On Saturday morning’s season preview edition of College GameDay, analyst Lee Corso said he expects the season to get off to a wild start, with the Seminoles knocking off the top team in the country:

Corso, a Florida State alum, said the Seminoles’ defense gives them the edge in this marquee matchup.

Though it would be an upset based on the AP Poll, many people think the Seminoles are one of the best teams in college football this year and believe that even the loser of the Week 1 matchup has a chance to make the College Football Playoff.

Of course, only time will tell what will happen, and fans only have to wait seven more days before the game kicks off at 8 p.m. Eastern time on ABC.
