Alabama was able to exact some revenge on Saturday night, as the Crimson Tide defeated LSU, 42-28, after losing to the Tigers 32-31 in overtime last year.
Quartback Jalen Milroe was special on Saturday night, becoming the first Alabama quarterback to rush for four touchdowns in a game.
A Milly Record!

After the game, Milroe told CBS it was good to get Nick Saban a win just a few days after his birthday.
“No. 1 thing, it was coach’s birthday earlier this week,” Saban said. “So that was his birthday gift right there, but the message in the locker room was just one play at a time, but constantly want to build and grow, have the approach to build and our team played to win and I’m proud of the guys.”
Saban echoed the statements of his quarterback, saying he was proud of the team.
“The players did a great job in the 2nd half, offense did a great job of controlling the ball, kept the ball away from them,” Saban told CBS. “We had a couple big stops on defense that we needed to get up two scores. So that kind of changed the game for us, but man I’m proud of the way our guys competed in the game because it was a tough gut check when they scored right before the half.”
