Nick Saban confirmed Monday evening that Coleman Hutzler, Alabama’s linebackers coach who recently accepted the defensive coordinator position at Mississippi State, will indeed coach the remainder of the season at Alabama.
The Tide, of course, have reached the College Football Playoff as the 4-seed and will face off against No. 1 Michigan at the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1. If Alabama can down the undefeated Wolverines they will face off against the winner of Texas/Washington.
Nick Saban says Coleman Hutzler will finish the season with the #Alabama staff.

Hutzler is a strong recruiter and have been at Alabama since 2022. He was the special teams coordinator at Ole Miss before landing in Tuscaloosa but has made stops all across the country, including places such as Florida, Texas, South Carolina, Boston College and New Mexico.
Hutzler was nominated for the Broyles award in 2017 during a stint with South Carolina.
