Nick Saban’s offense has gotten better as the weeks have gone on, and now it seems to be in full form.

The Tide started out the season with a few slow performances, but have since managed to hit their stride and post big numbers on offense. For Saban, he believes it starts with getting quarterback Jalen Milroe more comfortable and confident.

“I think that it’s probably a combination of both,” Saban said in his press conference Monday. “I think as Jalen gets more comfortable or confident, he’s reading and seeing things so he can actually do a little more and do some different things.”

But it also is a combination of his offense clicking as a while and figuring out the best way to take advantage of opposing defenses.

“But I also think that the rest of the guys around him are getting more comfortable and executing better, so all those things contribute to us being able to do a few things that we can take advantage of,” Saban said. “But that’s different every week in terms of what kind of defense are you playing and what do they do and how can you try and take advantage of it.”

Saban is hoping for a big offensive performance this week as Alabama takes on a solid defensive team in Kentucky. The Tide are still looking to find a way into the CFP, and they can’t afford a slip up against Kentucky on Saturday.
