On Saturday, the Alabama Crimson Tide kept their College Football Playoff chances alive with one of the most dramatic wins in the history of the Iron Bowl. Facing a 4th and goal from the Auburn 31, Jalen Milroe hit Isaiah Bond on a touchdown that will be talked about for decades to come in Alabama.

However, it wasn’t all good news as running back Jase McClellan was on crutches after the game, and his status for the SEC Championship against Georgia is unknown right now.

Saban talked about his starting running back on Sunday, saying it has been an issue for much of the season.

“He’s had a little foot injury all year long,” Saban said. “He tweaked it some.”

Saban was also unsure if McClellan would be able to practice this week.

McClellan has been a huge part of the offense this year for Alabama, as he leads the team with 803 rushing yards. He is also second on the team with 6 rushing touchdowns, with Milroe leading the team with 12 rushing touchdowns.

If McClellan is unable to go against Georgia, that is going to put a lot more pressure on Milroe and the passing game of Alabama.

Kickoff in the SEC Championship game is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET, and the game will be aired on CBS.
