Nick Saban is a legend ’til further notice.

The former Alabama head coach spent his Monday golfing with 10-time Grammy-nominated artist Travis Scott and Grammy-winner 50 Cent. Saban was one of a number of celebrities who turned out for the “Mr. October Celebrity Golf Classic” in Palm City, Florida, on Monday. The charity event was put on by MLB legend Reggie Jackson to raise money for his children’s foundation.

Scott shared a picture of himself and Saban — clad in a classic red pullover and a straw Alabama hat — on his Instagram story.

The coaching icon figures to live it up in retirement. He was a star in college football for decades, and has since stepped away from his role with the Crimson Tide program after a more-draining-than-normal 2023 season.

Alabama sprung for Washington coach Kalen DeBoer as Saban’s successor, and he has big shoes to fill. There’s no replacing a legend; not truly. Saban was and is a legend at Alabama.

In retirement, he’ll likely have no shortage of random cameos, high-profile guest appearances, or speaking engagements. Fans and NFL media alike seem to be pushing for Saban and former Patriots coach Bill Belichick to team up for a television show similar to the popular “ManningCast.”

Whether it’s popping up on a golf course with Astro Jack or breaking down tape in the studio with a guy who brought back cutoff hoodies, we likely haven’t seen the last of Saban.
