Alabama might not be No. 1 in the polls this week but it will be involved Saturday in the biggest game of the college season to date, as the No. 3 Crimson Tide head to Knoxville to take on 6th-ranked Tennessee.

Storyline No. 1 for Alabama this week remains the health status of Bryce Young.

The junior quarterback, who won the Heisman Trophy last season, missed last Saturday’s game with Texas A&M after being injured a week earlier in the 2nd quarter at Arkansas.

During the SEC coaches teleconference Wednesday, Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban provided the latest on Young.

“People are going to ask about Bryce,” Saban said. “There’s really nothing there to tell you. He’s making progress. He’s been able to practice some and we’ll continue to evaluate him as the week progresses.”

Alabama’s showdown with Tennessee is set for 3:30 p.m. (ET) on Saturday and will be televised by CBS.
