With the hire of new offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, will Alabama have a more conservative style of offensive play?

That’s a question everyone’s been asking after the departure of both Lane Kiffin and Steve Sarkisian in Tuscaloosa. Kiffin and Sarkisian are both known for a more spread-em-out style of offensive play, and several have been speculating that Saban wanted to get back to his roots with a more conservative ground-n-pound offensive style of play, thus resulting in the hire of Daboll.

Don’t assume anything with Saban, though, and when he was asked about it on Tuesday — the first day of spring practice, he delivered a passionate rant about … ball control.

Saban is known for giving the media a piece of his mind from time-to-time, and things started early in Tuscaloosa on the first day of spring practice.
