Nick Saban saw an error-prone Alabama team by halftime, but in the second half, the Crimson Tide looked like a vintage home team in Bryant-Denny Stadium, and rolled over Ole Miss, 24-10 on Saturday.

After the game, Saban spoke with CBS Sports.

“I think we just focused better, we didn’t make a lot of bad errors,” Saban said. “The guys played hard. I tell the guys, ‘You gotta trust in each other. I can trust you to do the right thing, but you’ve got to trust each other to do it and everybody’s got to be responsible for that.’ I think they did a great job of that in the second half.”

Saban was also pleased with Jalen Milroe, who started the game after he was benched last week in the lackluster win over South Florida.

“He took some shots today, but he did a great job out there executing the offense,” Saban said. “Course the one bad interception in the end zone took some points off the board. But overall, I was real pleased with the way he played and commanded the offense.”

Alabama returns to action next week at Mississippi State in a 9 p.m. ET game on ESPN from Starkville.
