Paul Finebaum believes Alabama fans can make plans for the SEC Championship Game.

“Book it, book your reservations for Atlanta,” Finebaum said Sunday morning on ESPN’s SportsCenter. “This Alabama team is one of the more resilient I’ve seen under Nick Saban. In fact, since that Texas game, Randy, I think this may be one of Nick Saban’s, if not his best coaching job.”

It’s been well-documented that Alabama has a different roster makeup this season, but the bottom line is it still gets results.

Case in point was Saturday, Jalen Milroe passed for 2 touchdowns, Jihaad Campbell returned a fumble for a scoop and score in the 4th quarter and No. 11 Alabama dumptrucked Tennessee with 27 straight second-half points in rallying for a 34-20 victory over No. 17 Tennessee.

“This is not the talented Alabama teams we’ve seen in the past. We don’t have Heisman Trophy winners like Bryce Young, or Tua Tagovailoa, Jalen Hurts, Mac Jones. It is a completely different operation but they dig down deep. Remember yesterday, they looked lost at halftime, down 13, they came back, they stormed back, and Nick Saban I think has this team in a very good place. A bye week now, LSU in 2 weeks and that will be for the SEC West.”
