Alabama WR Donnie Lee was reportedly arrested on Thursday morning.

Matt Zenitz with AL.com shared the news that the walk-on is being charged with third-degree domestic violence and received a reasonable and prudent speed charge. Lee had not played this season after suffering a knee injury in August.

According to Zenitz, Nick Saban announced in a statement that Lee was dismissed from the team following the incident:

“Donnie Lee Jr., a walk-on who has not been participating in team activities since a knee injury in August, has been dismissed from our football team and is no longer part of our program,” coach Nick Saban said in a statement. “This behavior will not be tolerated from anyone and is not representative of our football program.”

Alabama is getting set to take on Tennessee. The Crimson Tide are looking to remain undefeated and will try to move on from the distraction quickly.
