We may have another weekend of Southeastern Conference football to play before Alabama and Florida can officially turn the page to the 2020 SEC Championship Game in Atlanta but the fact we have games set to be played this weekend wasn’t going to stop the oddsmakers from looking ahead to the upcoming league title match.

Before we reach the title game, Alabama is set to travel to Arkansas this weekend while Florida is set to host LSU on Saturday.

Alabama, the nation’s No. 1 team, has cruised to a 9-0 record so far this season while 8-1 Florida’s only loss came on the road at Texas A&M all the way back on Oct. 10.

Looking forward to the matchup on Saturday, Dec. 19, Alabama has opened as a 14.5-point favorite against Florida according to DraftKings Sportsbook.

The Crimson Tide have beaten the Gators six times in a row leading up to the 2020 SEC Championship Game, which includes showdowns in the 2015 and 2016 SEC Championship Games.

No two programs have met for the SEC Championship Game more than Alabama and Florida, which have faced off nine times with the Crimson Tide currently leading the Gators 5-4 in matchups for the league title.
