While Alabama’s dominance over Tennessee Saturday was certainly a big story, Butch Jones stole the spotlight. His celebrations, ice bath and cigar photos literally stole the show.

Think about it — Jones is still being paid by Tennessee, recruited that team that got slaughtered by Alabama and then celebrated in Neyland Stadium following the blowout win. That’s college football in a nutshell.

In SEC Shorts latest bit, it focuses on “Nick Saban’s Coach Rehabilitation Clinic.” Saban has famously hired troubled coaches like Lane Kiffin and Steve Sarkisian, and both found solid ground after leaving Alabama’s program. It’s a brilliant strategy that he ultimately uses to win games. Instead of having graduate assistants break down film and help game plan, he uses former head coaches like Kiffin, Sarkisian, and now, Jones.
