Tim Brando criticizes Nick Saban’s handling of Jermaine Burton incident, calls him ‘untouchable’

Tim Brando did not agree with Nick Saban’s handling of the Jermaine Burton incident after the Alabama wide receiver was captured on video making contact with a woman on the field after Tennessee game.
Brando, in a conversation with Jacques Doucet of WAFB in Louisiana, said if the same thing happened to any other player on any other team, he would have been suspended, and the conference office would have stepped in. The reason it didn’t happen in this case is because Brando said Saban is “untouchable.”
“Nick knows better than to handle it as poorly as he did,” Brando said. “But he did because he was upset because he lost the game, and he was upset with the conference office because of a couple of calls, and that affected his better judgement, and he misstepped. I said it, and a number of people in the media that don’t cower to Nick said it. But don’t ask anybody in Alabama to believe you when you take a shot at Nick Saban. That’s a mortal sin.”
“Any other player does that, on any other team, the conference office comes in and suspends the kid for a game.” @TimBrando has strong thoughts on Nick Saban’s handling of Jermaine Burton.
