On Monday, former SEC coach Tommy Tuberville appeared on “The Paul Finebaum Show” and stated that “It’s not even fun to watch” Alabama this season.

After that, Tuberville appeared on “The Opening Kickoff” on WNSP-FM 105.5 to further explain that comment.

Why doesn’t Tuberville enjoy watching the Crimson Tide?

“I like good games,” Tuberville said on the show, per AL.com. “You turn a game on like the LSU game with all the buildup, and I knew LSU was going to struggle scoring. I thought they’d play better defensively.

“As I said, they are that good. This is a very, very good football team, and a young football team. That’s a scary point also. They’ve taken the fun out of the regular season because you know they’re going to win.”

Tuberville has experience facing Alabama in the past as he coached at Ole Miss from 1995-98 and at Auburn from 1999-2008.

Perhaps when Alabama faces some stronger opponents — such as Georgia in the SEC Championship Game — its games will be more entertaining. But so far, no team has kept pace with the Crimson Tide.
