Nick Saban hasn’t had much of a chance to study Oklahoma yet, but he knows what kind of threat the Sooners’ offense poses.

Saban called Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray-led attack “a pretty dynamic group” during an appearance on ESPN’s College Football Playoff Selection Show on Sunday. No. 1 Alabama will aim to slow the No. 4 Sooners down when the teams meet in the CFP semifinal on Dec. 29 at the Orange Bowl in Miami.

The Crimson Tide coach revealed he was able to watch a little bit of Oklahoma’s Big 12 title game against Texas last Saturday, which kicked off about four hours before Alabama took down No. 5 Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. He also has a little bit of familiarity with Murray, a 2018 Heisman Trophy candidate who began his college career at Texas A&M before transferring to Oklahoma.

The Sooners lead the nation in scoring offense with 49.5 points per game, just ahead of the Crimson Tide (47.9). You can see what Saban said about Oklahoma’s potent offensive attack below, courtesy of a YouTube clip posted by Football Nation.
