What Nick Saban said following Alabama's loss to Texas
Nick Saban addressed reporters following Alabama’s shocking loss to Texas Saturday night.
This is not something Alabama is used to. The Crimson Tide have never been 1-1 under Nick Saban before, it’s the first time the Tide start the season 1-1 since 2003.
Regardless, Saban started his presser by telling reporters that he “still believes” in his players following the 34-24 loss.

Saban said a few things about his quarterback, Jalen Milroe as well. He was blunt, saying he “considered” taking Milroe out of the game, insisting that Milroe held on to the ball too long at times. However, he also admitted receivers were not doing a good job of getting open.
Milroe finished with a pair of touchdowns and a pair of interceptions on 14/27 passing for 255 yards.

Nick Saban: “This was a test for us. I told the players early in the week last week that this was gonna be a test and we would play a really good team. … And we obviously didn’t do very well. But it’s the midterm, not the final.”
