Arkansas has dealt with plenty of roster turnover this transfer portal cycle, and the Razorbacks are facing one more move.

Trent Gordon, an Arkansas redshirt senior defensive back, has reportedly entered his name into the transfer portal, according to Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports. On his Twitter bio, Gordon refers to himself as “Former DB @ Arkansas.” Gordon is the ninth Razorback defensive back to enter the transfer portal.

Gordon transferred to Arkansas by way of Penn State before the 2021 season. He appeared in 20 games over the past 2 seasons and made 16 total tackles. In 3 seasons at Penn State, Gordon made 21 tackles and 5 pass breakups.

Gordon was declared academically ineligible for Arkansas’ 55-53 Liberty Bowl win over Kansas. He was set to be a possible super senior for the Hogs next season.

Coming out of high school in Spring, Texas, Gordon was a 3-star prospect and was ranked as the No. 56 cornerback and No. 80 player in Texas by 247Sports.
