After delaying his commitment a bit, kicker Blake Mazza has announced his intentions to play for the University of Arkansas.

The 5-foot-9, 173-pound prospect out of Plano, Tx., announced his decision with a heartfelt message on Twitter Tuesday morning.

Though Mazza is┬ánot ranked by any of the major recruiting services, his talents were impressive enough to garner a scholarship offer from Army. Mazza ultimately decided to join the Razorbacks over Utah. The multi-tooled special teamer served as not only Plano’s kicker┬ábut also their punter and kickoff specialist. Though this role is uncommon on the next level, it could certainly help him find playing time in Fayetteville.

He was 6-for-9 on field goals and 26-for-27 on extra points last season. Here’s Mazza’s profile, per specialist website Kohls Kicking:

Mazza has attended many different Kohl’s events and the most recent was the National Scholarship Camp in July of 2016. We have seen him hit a 65 yard FG to win a FG competition at our Texas Showcase in May of 2016 and do many other impressive things over his career with Kohl’s. His FG are good enough to play at a Power 5 school. I hope someone sees the potential in his swing and smooth kicking motion. Mazza can make kicks!
