Arkansas is dealing with more roster turnover after the bowl game.

A veteran linebacker, Jackson Woodard, announced on social media on Friday that he would enter the transfer portal. The redshirt sophomore from Little Rock, Arkansas appeared in 28 games for the Hogs over the last 3 seasons, including all 13 in 2022, and had a big game in the Liberty Bowl victory.

Woodard logged a career-high 34 snaps on defense and made a pair of tackles.

“First, I would like to thank Coach Pittman and his staff for giving me an opportunity to play for the Razorbacks,” Woodard said. “I would also like to thank the fans for giving me the awesome experience of being a Razorback. To my teammates, thank you for the memories we’ve made on and off the field. I will never forget my time at Arkansas! “I would also like to thank my family and friends for supporting me and believing in me. I have decided to enter the transfer portal.”

Earlier in his career, Woodard appeared in 4 games as a freshman for the Razorbacks in 2020. He appeared in 11 games as a redshirt freshman in 2021 with most of his action coming on special teams.
