Chandler Morris will finally be making the move to Arkansas.

The Highland Park standout signal caller and Elite 11 Finalist has just announced his commitment to join the Razorbacks as the program’s quarterback for the 2020 recruiting cycle. As you likely could have guessed, if you didn’t know already, Morris is the son of Arkansas head coach, Chad Morris.

When Chad Morris left SMU to take over the football program in Fayetteville, Chandler stayed behind in order to continue his career as Highland Park’s starting quarterback. Morris led the program to its third consecutive state title last season and will look to continue that streak his final prep season in the fall after attending the upcoming Elite 11 Finals.

The 5-foot-10, 172-pound Morris threw for 4,010 yards and 46 touchdowns with only six interceptions last season and added another 647 yards on the ground with 20 rushing scores. 247Sports Composite Rankings list Morris as a four-star prospect and the nation’s No. 10 dual-threat quarterback prospect.

Morris picked Arkansas over scholarship offers from Auburn, Texas A&M and Clemson.

The Razorbacks now hold nine commitments in the 2020 recruiting cycle. Here is a breakdown of the class so far:
