Dre Greenlaw made the biggest play of San Francisco’s season on Saturday night vs. the Packers.

Greenlaw, a former Arkansas linebacker, picked off Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love as he was marching the Packers down the field on a potential game-tying (or game-winning) drive with under 1 minute to go in the game.

The interception effectively ended the game and ensured that San Francisco will host the NFC Championship Game next weekend. Here’s a replay:

The 49ers were 10-point favorites over the Packers in this game, but trailed for much of the evening. San Francisco didn’t take the lead in the 4th quarter until Christian McCaffrey scored a touchdown with just over 1 minute remaining in the game.

This was Greenlaw’s second interception of the game — and sealed arguably the biggest playoff performance of his career so far. In 9 previous postseason games, Greenlaw didn’t have any interceptions. Greenlaw was also credited with 8 tackles, 1 tackle for loss and 2 pass deflections against the Packers.

Greenlaw is in his 5th NFL season out of Arkansas. He’s been a regular starter in all 5 of his NFL campaigns with the 49ers and helped the franchise earn the No. 1 seed in the NFC this season.

The 49ers will face either the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the Detroit Lions at home in the NFC Championship Game next Sunday.
