Two of the most potent offenses in the SEC will butt heads in Week 11 when Arkansas travels to Death Valley to slug it out with LSU.

Here are five players to keep an eye on when the Razorbacks meet the Tigers:

Arkansas QB Brandon Allen — Brandon Allen has had a resurgence in the past three weeks thanks to two gutsy performances to lead the Razorbacks to thrilling overtime wins — victories that have essentially rescued the Hogs’ season. The senior trails only Ole Miss’ Chad Kelly, whom he outdueled in Week 10’s OT win, for passing yards in the conference with 2,476 and touchdowns (21). Allen leads the conference with a 9.24 average per completion. The Fayetteville native is building something special in Arkansas, but the problem is it might be too little, too late.

LSU RB Leonard Fournette – I sure wouldn’t want to be the team that gets to face Leonard Fournette after the LSU superstars’ off game against Alabama, in which he posted only 31 rushing yards. That broke a streak of nine-straight 100-yard games. Fournette is on his way toward leading the nation in rushing (1,383 yards), but was overtaken last week by Derrick Henry of Alabama for the conference’s lead in touchdowns at 17 to 16. Look for Fournette to play with a chip on his shoulder and return to form.

Arkansas RB Alex Collins — If we’re talking about the SEC’s elite running backs, we’d be remiss to exclude Alex Collins. The junior RB is one of the surprises of the conference this season, rushing for 1,068 yards as the Razorbacks’ lone feature back with the season-ending injury to 2014’s leading rusher Jonathan Williams. Collins has rushed for more than  1,000 yards three seasons in a row now and should leave Fayetteville close to the top of most of the program’s rushing records. His yardage and 12 touchdowns rank him behind only Alabama’s Henry and LSU’s Fournette for third in the SEC.

Arkansas DL DeMarcus Hodge — DeMarcus Hodge is quietly putting together an outstanding senior campaign. Hodge is second on the Hogs in tackles-for-loss (6.0) behind Jeremiah Ledbetter, while making 21 tackles on the season, including a sack. It’s players like Hodge that make Arkansas tough to run on, ranking No. 27 in the nation with a 129.4 YPG average. The task this week isn’t so easy, however, as Leonard Fournette and the SEC’s No. 1 rushing attack line up across the line of scrimmage.

LSU DE Lewis Neal — Simply put, LSU defensive end Lewis Neal is a force. The junior is third in the SEC in sacks (7.0) and can basically be found everywhere on the field. The Wilson, N.C., native has 36 tackles, 8.0 tackles-for-loss, 5 broken-up passes, 5 passed defended and 7 quarterback hurries. Neal anchors a defense that ranks No. 3 in the SEC in rush defense, which could be potentially bad news for Arkansas’ star running back Alex Collins, who is looking for his fourth-consecutive 100-yard game.
